How do you use knowledge to escape poverty?

I’ve got a chapter in my book called Knowledge Is The Best Ticket To Escape Poverty.

Everybody in the world is born into poverty. We’re born not having any skills, not having any information in our minds, and if we were to go to work, the average person who’s just an average guy, just born into the world, we all start at minimum wage.

The only way for somebody to break out of minimum wage and getting above that, is to study, accumulate specific knowledge, and apply that specific knowledge.

When I started out in my first job outside of a poverty level of minimum wage, it was as a guitar teacher.

When I studied music and learned how to teach guitar, I was making five or six times the minimum wage at the time.

Now a days, I do Real Estate deals and I also do some Real Estate coaching and training and I make, I don’t even know, I think a hundred times what minimum wage is.

That’s purely because I’ve invested into knowledge, and knowledge is the ticket out of poverty.

If you guys don’t have the right knowledge, if you don’t have the proper knowledge, or the specific knowledge needed, the economy is always going to force you down to the bottom, which is minimum wage.

Here is the thing about minimum wage. It is still the minimum. Even if the minimum wage is increased, it is still the minimum. You are still at the bottom.

The only way you are going to raise yourself off the bottom is to get the knowledge, skills and education you need to get paid more. You can’t be legislated into prosperity.

Now guys, this is all from my new book Self Made. Go ahead, pick up a copy of the book and I got a gotta love it guarantee.

You’re either going to love the book or you’re going to give it to someone else who does love it. Call me up, I’ll give you your money back if you don’t love it.

Respect The Grind,
