We are looking for a working sales manager to build and lead a team of sales professionals. Someone that can direct the team’s focus, set goals, look at data, motivate and help create training opportunities.
This position includes working with large profile customers or with customer complaints, setting an example of daily performance, and determining ways to streamline and improve the sales process. The leads are in excess of what the team can handle right now so the only thing this position needs to do is sell everyday.
The compensation for this position is full commission, with manager overrides on each member of the team. This is a six figure opportunity with unlimited growth potential.
Education and experience are key for this job. Significant experience (1- 5 years or more) in the sales field, as a sales associate or in some other sales capacity on full commission, as well as proven leadership skills.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Leadership Skills: Your job is to motivate your employees, working with them to set and meet sales goals. You will have to resolve conflicts and will be in charge of hiring your staff.
Analytical Skills: You will take the sales numbers and analyze them to find weaknesses in the system, cost-saving opportunities and redundancies. Good analytical skills will help you set proper goals and determine pricing.
Customer Service: You might need to speak with dissatisfied customers, or entertain high profile clients. Customer service skills will be necessary.
Communication Skills: A big part of sales and leadership is communication. You will need to be a good listener and speaker, to help management and employees understand your direction and recommendations.
