Money is not the root of all evil.

The bible says “the love of money is the root of all evil”

Money, in truth, is earned as appreciation for a job well done.

So how can you create money and appreciation out of thin air?

There are two ways that you can create appreciation and money in your life immediately, but there are only two ways:

There essentially two ways that you can make money if you provide goods and services that solve either of these two problems:

  1. Things people don’t want to do
  2. Things people don’t know how to do

Appreciation is found in things people don’t want to do: like cleaning toilets, grocery shopping, shoveling snow, cutting grass, picking up junk, the most basic businesses. Serving food at a restaurant is something people don’t want to do, so it pays pretty well.

These types of businesses are called “timing businesses” and they revolve around timing.

A customer doesn’t want to do something, you get to them at the right time, they buy. It’s as simple as that.

The other option is things people don’t know how to do: build an iPhone, go to space, build a car, write a book, create a movie, build a video game, make beautiful art, write a hit song, teach music lessons, or raise smart children.

These businesses are called “Innovation businesses” and they revolve around having the intellect and execution behind complex ideas.

Inside of everyone of us is a timing business and innovation business worth over $1,000,000 but the people who capture the wealth are the ones who act on their ideas.

At the end of the day, creating money is not just about timing or innovation, it’s about executing on that idea!
