You might be wondering: Is real estate investing right for me?

The answer is: Real estate investing certainly isn’t for everyone.

If you are a freedom minded person who wants to take control of his or her own destiny, then real estate may be for you.

But you have to ask yourself, are you resilient?

Are you a person who likes dealing with people?

Are you a person who likes to negotiate and perhaps get confrontational?

Real estate typically is perfect for freedom minded, entrepreneur minded people and not so great for people who are security minded and more focused on safety and entitlement.

In real estate your are exposed to the dark side of human nature. Tenants will steal from you, smash suites, people will lie to you, you will get screwed over by someone at many points in your career. But if you are resilient and have some grit, real estate can have massive rewards for you as well.

Real estate can offer passive income which can bring you freedom of time and place.

Real estate can give you a multi six figure income which can help you escape the rat race.

Real estate help you build a considerable net worth and allow you to become affluent and rich over time if you are willing to stick it out for 10 or 20 years.

If you are ok with the downsides, then you are of course ok with the upsides.

No one loves real estate, what we all love instead are the benefits of real estate.

We like the cash and the cash flow.

If you understand that the good comes with the bad, then maybe you should jump in, get educated and try out one or two small deals.

If you like it, keep going. If you don’t like it, liquidate and get out.

As they say – Try it you might like it.

Or try it, you might hate it.
